Everyone is welcome to attend the Society's rooms on 'open days' and seek assistance to do their own research into the history of Traralgon.
Our collection includes photographs, periodicals, maps, books, manuscript materials, vertical files, objects and a large database to help.
When are Open Days held?
Open days are held on the last Sunday of each month from 2pm to 4pm, except during December and Public Holidays. Rooms can also be opened by appointment. We’re located at the Kath Teychenee Centre, 11 Breed Street, Traralgon.
We can research for you
Alternatively, the Society can perform research on your behalf for a small fee.
Research fees
Personal research is $25.00 per hour or part thereof.
Corporate research is $50.00 per hour or part thereof.
Photo prints are $5.00 ea. Photocopies and postage may incur extra costs.
